Gas BBQ Accessories

Please measure the area and the height inside your grill before ordering, as follows:

Area:  The FlavrQ Grid will fit a gas grill with a minimum inside measurement of 14 ½” in the direction parallel to the radiant bars/heating elements (typically front to back), and an inside measurement of at least 12” perpendicular to the radiant bars/heating elements (typically side to side). Larger grills may accommodate multiple FlavrQ Grids — please measure carefully before ordering.

Height: Measure the distance from the top of the radiant bar/heating element covers to the bottom of the cooking grate. The FlavrQ System should work if this distance is 1 1/4” to from 6”. When installed, the top of your cooking grate should be at least 1 ½” above the top of the FlavrQ Grid. 

Important: Never use the FlavrQ Grilling System without the protective radiant bar/heating element covers (triangular or flat) that came as original equipment with your gas grill in place. 

Yes. Our unique BBQ accessories don’t permanently modify your gas grill and can be removed in seconds. However, because the FlavrQ Grid enhances radiant heat distribution, we recommend leaving it in place even when grilling with gas.

Upgrading your gas grill with our grilling system couldn’t be easier! You don’t need any special tools or knowledge. Just make sure to measure the dimensions of your grill before ordering the FlavrQ Grid to ensure that it’s compatible. Here’s what the installation process looks like:

• Remove your grill’s grate.
• Place the FlavrQ Grid on top of your grill’s radiant bars.
• Replace your grill’s grate.

We designed the FlavrQ system to be versatile and adaptable to your needs. If you only want to dedicate one section of your grill to FlavrQ, use one FlavrQ Grid. Add additional FlavrQ Grids as needed to expand your cooking area.

Because FlavrQ reduces residual ash by 90% compared to conventional charcoal, you should only need to clean up after multiple grilling sessions. Wait at least one day after grilling to ensure a safe cleanup.

Lighting your grill with our unique BBQ accessories in place is a breeze. After adding your Charcoal Chips™, simply ignite your grill as usual at its highest setting. Unlike conventional charcoal, you don’t need to wait for gray ash to appear. As soon as the Charcoal Chips™ starts glowing red, you’re ready to start grilling.

Because our gas BBQ accessories are so efficient, refueling isn’t typically necessary. For longer grilling sessions, you can easily refuel anytime by placing more Charcoal Chips™ onto the FlavrQ Grid.

A depth of ½”-¾” is the sweet spot for giving your food charcoal-grilled flavor. More chips produce more heat.
