Is the FlavrQ grill accessories kit compatible with my grill?
The FlavrQ Grilling System is designed for gas grills only. Our BBQ accessories kit is compatible with the vast majority of gas grills. However, it is not designed for butane or electric table top grills.
What are the dimensions of the FlavrQ Grid?

How long will the 3-lb bag of Charcoal Chips™ last?
Our patented Charcoal Chips™ is much more efficient than conventional charcoal briquettes. It uses 75% less fuel to get the same results, so one pound of Charcoal Chips™ equals four pounds of traditional charcoal. In other words, you’re receiving the equivalent of twelve pounds of charcoal with the FlavrQ Starter Kit.
As an added bonus, Charcoal Chips™ reduces charcoal storage space by 80%.
Can I still use my grill without the FlavrQ grill accessories kit?
Yes, the FlavrQ Grid doesn’t permanently modify your gas grill. You can easily remove it and grill with gas only just like before. However, we recommend keeping the FlavrQ Grid installed even when you’re not using Charcoal Chips™ because it helps boost radiant heat distribution while you’re grilling with gas only.
How do I install the FlavrQ BBQ accessories kit?
Installing the FlavrQ Grid is fast and easy, requiring no special tools or knowledge. Simply remove your grill’s grate, place the FlavrQ Grid on your grill’s radiant bars, and replace the grate. Now you’re ready to add Charcoal Chips™ and start grilling like a pro!

Can I use other fuels with the FlavrQ grill accessories kit?
No, the FlavrQ Grid is designed to be used with Charcoal Chips™ only. Using other fuels could damage the FlavrQ Grid and void your warranty.
How much Charcoal Chips™ should I use?
For best results, we recommend a depth of ½” to ¾”. The FlavrQ system is designed for portion-controlled grilling, so you only need to place Charcoal Chips™ underneath the grilling areas where the food will be cooked.
How do I light my grill with the FlavrQ Grilling System installed?
After installing the FlavrQ Grid and adding Charcoal Chips™, ignite your grill at the highest heat level. Unlike conventional charcoal, you don’t need to wait until gray ash appears to start grilling with the FlavrQ grill accessories kit. As soon as the Charcoal Chips™ are glowing, you’re ready to grill.
Keep the heat on high throughout the entire grilling session to achieve the best possible flavor and sear.
Can I refuel while grilling?
Yes, while refueling isn’t usually necessary, the FlavrQ BBQ accessories kit allows for easy refueling as you go. Simply drop more Charcoal Chips™ onto the FlavrQ Grid.
Do I need to clean my grid after using the FlavrQ system?
You should only need to clean your grid after several grilling sessions. Compared to conventional charcoal, Charcoal Chips™ reduces residual ash by 90%.
Can I create different grilling zones with the FlavrQ grill accessories kit?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. The FlavrQ Grilling System is designed for professional-style grilling, so we recommend designating three sections for flavor-sear, finishing, and holding. Unleash the ultimate grill master in you!
Do I need to change my grilling style when using FlavrQ?
Because the FlavrQ Grilling System boosts your gas grill’s temperature by 100° or more, it sears and seals food 50% faster. You may want to keep a closer watch on your food than usual as you get used to the performance upgrade.
